Citrix Endpoint Management: Over 200 policies and counting
This past year has been transformative for Citrix Endpoint Management. In less than one year’s time, we have added over 100 unified endpoint management policies. We not only expanded support
Our commitment to deliver a unified experience for both IT admins and their user base has been the driving force behind our investment in endpoint management. Enabling IT to manage not only mobile devices, but laptops, desktops, and IoT devices from a single console has led us to where we are today, over 200 policies supporting 10 platforms and counting.

Continued investment in popular platforms
As we evolve from EMM to UEM, two of the platforms we have expanded support for are Windows 10 and MacOS X. In addition to standard policies that exist across all platforms, like exchange, VPN, WiFi and pushing certificates. We have added platform-specific policies to provide a single solution to manage all device types. For MacOS X, we have 22 MacOS X specific policies including File Vault Encryption, which encrypts storage to protect corporate and sensitive data from falling into the wrong hands, since laptops can be lost or stolen.
For Windows 10, we support 26 Windows 10 specific policies including App Locker, Windows Information Protection and control OS updates where IT can schedule updates to minimize downtime due to bugs and mitigate the risk of critical data loss with patches for security vulnerabilities. For companies running legacy Windows and juggling both a UEM and traditional client management solution, Citrix Endpoint Management co-exists with Microsoft SCCM to manage any Windows 10 device.
Support for new devices
As organizations look to incorporate IoT devices and thin clients into their environments whether it’s for innovation or to save cost, security comes top of mind. Our support for Workspace Hub, Chrome OS and Apple tvOS differentiates us from other UEM vendors and serve as indicators of our willingness to accommodate and support new devices in the enterprise, like Alexa for Business. IoT and thin clients access internet and sensitive information and Endpoint Management provides a single solution for IT to manage and set policies across all devices: IoT, thin clients, mobile, laptops and desktops.
A key component of the digital workspace, Citrix Endpoint Management has gained momentum and will continue to evolve to provide enterprises a single pane of glass to manage users, devices, apps and data. To learn more about Citrix Endpoint Management and stay informed of the latest innovations:
